Rob’s Records is a legendary shop in Nottingham, hidden in a tiny Georgian alleyway in the city centre.
Packed to the ceilings with obscure vinyl his chaotic shop looks like its been bombed a couple of times. Rob makes his living from the rarer stuff, especially Northern Soul.
Quite a few of the bands visiting Nottingham find their way down there, as its not far from Rock City, I bumped into The Rapture in there a while back. Well worth a trip if you’ve got a bit of time on your hands, there are some musical gems to be had if you don’t mind sifting through the quasi-organised chaos.
